About Luganda Academy
Luganda Academy is a volunteer-led organization located outside of Washington DC in the USA. Our current mode of instruction is a combination of online and in-person classes. We meet virtually every Saturday at 10:30-11:30am (EST), except the 2nd Saturday of the month, when we meet in-person for 3 hours (10:30am-1:30pm) at the Mid-County Community Recreation Center 2004 Queensguard Road, Silver Spring, MD 20906
We offer limited opportunities for private lessons.
Programs
To teach students about their cultural Identity, language and customs of the Buganda culture through language, music, crafts and drama and help them build a network through this shared experience.
